indian movies is not only these hindi movies so called bollywood.in other film industries like malayalam releasing much better than them even matching with hollywood even technically quite dull due to it’s low budget.now a days tamil movies even better than hindi movies.look this year how many hindi movies can say good except a znmd or dehibelly.the blockbusters like bodyguard,ready, singham were remakes of mal,telugu,tamil respectively.they lack creativity and freshness. how they can match with hollywood?

I think you are right on some point NIKHIL because you can only cook the same dish so many times, and then it becomes boring and this is what bollywood is doing . The real writers are not given the chance to exibit their work and most of the bollywood stuff is made by the same bunch of writers and subject matter be comes stale. Due to this closed circle new talent is not recognised as talent.

Like you said it’s not about the bugget it’s about the quality and i think it’s bocome poor over the years and also it’s not value for money like it’s used to be, it’s same cost as hollywood film for the end user.

That was a real nice analysis. Yes, Hindi films are maturing over the years as the audiences are- so we have films like Luck by chance, Rock On, Rocket Singh , Wake up Sid, Shagird, Ganga Jal, A Wednesday etc.But we also have these awful films like “Kabhi Kushi KabhiGam”type of so called “family dramas” that flood the theaters. I think a lot of this is because of the NRI audience who are stuck in some time machine where they want to see India the way it was when they left it – immature in terms of accepting the grey elements.. If the Indian film makers are clear about who their target audience is and if that decision points to India then you will see more of the better quality films and not silly things about shaadi songs and Karva Chauth!

I Am indian but i am a big fan of Hollywood Movies because their{Hollywood Filmmakers} way of given a Massage is amazing.Spiderman,Inception,This kind of movies isn’t based on real life but Connected with real life & give a lots of massages with Great Entertaining script Acting Of Actors & amazing Visual effects .You Feel Amazed after watch full movie.Lets Take more exapmle from Hollywood’s great movies.Wall-E is a great Animation movie the character of wall-e wins your heart when you watch this film.this is only a animation character but when you watch the act of this character you will never forget this.Some people say that animation and superheroes movies only for children but Hollywood movies {Spiderman,Wall-E} proves them wrong.It’s very bad but it’s true that Bollywood filmakers Can’t make this kind of animation movies.I watch bollywood animation roadside romeo & it is very bad film not only animation bollywood filmkaers can’t make real superheroes movies because they think superheroes means action,romance,stylish,handsome etc etc.I watch Krrish & Drona {bollywood} this kind of superheroes movies are for children.
Peter parker {Spiderman} Character much better and real then Krishna In krrish.When you trying to find diffrence between this 2 chracters you will understand peter is best than krishna{krrish}.GREAT POWERS COMES WITH GREAT RESPONSIBILITIES Says uncle ben to peter parker in Spiderman film but when you watch Krrish you will understand it’s only for making money.not only some words the whole series {Spidrman-1,2,3} have a big messages. SRK Production Ra.One Will become third {Bollywood} superheroes & I am sure this will be same as previous bollywood superheroes like Drona & Krrish because i watch trailer.I Wish to explain bollywood filmakers that who is best but as i know every human think he is right So THEY NEVER UNDERSTAND that THEY NEED TO GROW UP.

I liked your take! To tell you the truth, some of the Indian blockbusters which are so hyped about make me cringe in shame, and I felt that I’m the only one in the theater reddening to that extend. Our movies are based on egoistic pompus fantasies about ourselves (our star fraternity), and there fore often disconnected from reality. The worst part is, it’s got huge audience. Why cant our movie makers make an attempt to make inspired entertainers /serious films with real script about real emotions and with a desire to deliver art! Even our action sequences end up being funny when they are meant to be serious. I could go on

Hollywood definetly produces better materials than Bollywood
For the past one year i m greatly into Hollywood films and they really have great content.
But bollywood is catching in content.Just see low budget movies of Bollywood like Phas Gaye Obama,Dharm,Tahan,Blue Umbrella,Tere Bin laden,Oye Lucky Lucky Oye,Well done Abba,AAmir etc.
I admit that the content of Starry Bollywood movies is pathetic but its improving.
However,Hollywood has stories in all dimensions from politics,sports,love,wars,sci-fi and their animation films are billion times better.
Bollywood is losing its audience to Hollywood its true as Indians get more and more globalized.
