Thanks for your comment: your mother is not the only one! In my three months there I spent a lot of time on the trains...I was hooked from the first trip to Agra - despite the fitful night&#039;s sleep because of my lack of foresight! The familiar kerchunk-kerchunk-kerchunk sound of the train along the tracks usually helped me to sleep once I&#039;d gone armed with a blanket!

		<description>I couldn&#039;t agree more!  My mother who has been out of India for many decades still talks about her childhood rail journies with a partcular fondness bordering on obsession!  Without a doubt, a rail journey in India always reminds me of a slower time gone by.........great time to reflect and recollect.</description>
